Like conventional concrete, stamped concrete can offer decades of service when properly installed and maintained, even when exposed to harsh winter weather. The material’s inherent strength and endurance only adds to the value of decorative stamped concrete. In some cases, stamped concrete can be even more durable than standard concrete – when properly maintained.
Stamped Concrete Maintenance Tips:
- Apply protective sealer to block penetration of dirt, chemicals, oils and other substances.
- Sweep and wash the surface occasionally to avoid buildup of dirt.
- To restore original shine, simply re-coat with sealer.
