Concrete pitting
Concrete pitting is when the surface of a concrete structure, such as a driveway, begins to deteriorate. You’ll see if you have concrete pitting on your driveway if there are clusters of small holes throughout your driveway. Concrete pitting is a common problem in concrete and is usually caused by the way the concrete was poured. If something goes wrong during the concrete mixing or curing process, there is a chance there could be pitting in the future. Unfortunately, concrete doesn’t always show problems during the mixing process so the contractor may not know something is wrong with it. The best way to prevent concrete pitting is to limit the concrete’s exposure to water.
