Don’t use rock salt!
Soon the snow will be coming which means lots of shoveling and snow plowing. Some turn to salting their driveway to help melt the snow, but this can be bad for your driveway because it damages it. Rock salt is also poisonous. Rock salt contains harmful chemicals that can hurt children and pets. The rock salt can get wedged between pets paws and the chemicals can seep into the skin. An alternative you can use to rock salt is using a salt-free, natural ice melt. It is safe for pets and plants and has the same effectiveness as rock salt without the damages.
