How to repair cracks in your concrete driveway
Cracks can be annoying to have in your driveway because they look unappealing, can be dangerous, and can lead to other issues for your driveway. Determining the size of the crack is the first step to determine if it should be repaired or not. The size will also help to determine how much concrete you need to pour in the crack. If the crack is more than ¼ inch wide, the crack should be repaired. Once you’ve measured the crack, clean out any debris that is in it. Then apply a thin layer of bonding adhesive. This will help to enhance adhesion between the new and existing concrete. Next, fill the crack with the correct amount of concrete. After filling the crack, take a squeegee and surface the concrete until it is level with the rest of the driveway.
